Witch (12 "vocal + 12" instrumental) - Helen (1983)

Disco in its primary form died out in the early 1980s and gave way to several currents. Those which come closest to it are funk, Hi-NRG and Italian-disco. It was especially during the year 1983 that Italian-disco really exploded and really took shape in Europe. The great majority of the productions are immediately recognizable, thanks to the use of very synthetic sounds and easy but catchy melodies. In 1983, the tendrils of violins of the disco of the end of the 70's are already only a distant memory ... Now it's time for synthesizers which herald the sound of the future. We can rightly say that Italian-disco comes directly from disco, already in terms of its rhythm and tempo, but also in terms of synthesizers, who really began to democratize in 1977 through disco titles, like those of the group 'Space' or those of the brilliant Giorgio Moroder, among others mentor of Donna Summer.

A slew of italo-disco hits thus arrived in this year 1983, among which "I Like Chopin" by 'Gazebo', "La Dolce Vita" by Ryan Paris, or even "Vamos A La Playa" by 'Righeira'. Italian singer Elena Ferretti, for her part, takes the pseudonym 'Helen' and records the single "Witch" composed by C. Regazzoni and M. Noe.

Elena will also sing for various projects, among which 'Rose' and 'Sophie'.
